How DTM uses personal information and how to make a privacy request.
Last updated October 10, 2026Destroy the Markets, LLC operates DTM and is responsible for the processing described in this notice. Contact support@destroythemarkets.com or 5805 State Bridge Rd STE G83, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Accounts are intended for adults 18 or older in the United States.
We process account email and authentication information through Supabase; optional display name, time-zone and clock preferences; saved-study titles and settings, dashboard preferences and indicator watchlist selections; and support or feedback messages, category, optional name, email and company, and originating page.
Technical and security records can include route, request method, status, timestamp, account identifier and a keyed IP hash. Hosting services can separately process IP addresses, device and browser information and diagnostic logs. A hashed identifier is not necessarily anonymous. We also keep account-linked AI usage, allowance and reservation records.
Stripe processes payment details entered on its hosted payment pages. DTM uses customer and subscription identifiers, plan and price information, billing status and periods, cancellation indicators, payment and event references, and records needed to reconcile charges and access. Stripe may receive account reference and email information for billing. DTM does not need your full card number for support; do not send it to us. Stripe also processes information for its own payment, fraud-prevention and regulatory purposes under its privacy notice.
We use information to operate accounts and research tools, save preferences, administer AI allowances, provide billing and support, prevent misuse, secure services, diagnose failures and meet legal obligations.
Providers include Supabase for authentication and database storage, Vercel for hosting and operational logs, OpenAI for AI explanations and Stripe for payments and billing. When we deliver support email through Resend, it processes the message and delivery information needed for that purpose. We may disclose information for lawful requests, safety, claims and a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
OpenAI receives instructions and calculated research context for enabled explanations, such as selected series, transformations, dates, statistical results and methodology. DTM constructs these requests without account email, passwords, display names or private saved-study titles. DTM separately associates account IDs with usage and credit telemetry.
Selected analytical snapshots and explanations can be retained and reused for matching nonpersonal contexts. Private account information is not intended for shared outputs. Provider retention is separate from DTM retention; request settings do not promise zero provider retention. Do not include personal or confidential information in research inputs or feedback. See the AI Disclosure.
DTM uses authentication and security cookies and storage for requested preferences. The Cookie Notice describes their names, purposes and controls. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use targeted advertising or advertising pixels. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics using Privacy choices. Payment providers' independent processing is described in their own notices.
To exercise any applicable sale, sharing or targeted-advertising opt-out right, email support@destroythemarkets.com. Privacy choices lets you reject analytics or withdraw an earlier choice. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics off without changing essential account storage.
If you accept analytics, Google receives technical connection information, browser/device information, consented page visits and completed email-signup events. We replace page addresses with query-free route categories and redact private saved-study IDs. We do not send account IDs, email, passwords, confirmation tokens, research queries or study titles to Google Analytics. Referrers are limited to their origin. Google may set first-party measurement cookies to distinguish browsers. Analytics counts browsers and consented events, not every visitor or verified total account creation.
Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag. Your preference is kept for up to 180 days. You can change it using Privacy choices on any page; withdrawing reloads the page, disables measurement and clears DTM measurement cookies. Previously transmitted information is not erased by withdrawal. Browser blocking and declined consent can reduce measurement coverage. Google retention settings and processing apply separately; see the Cookie Notice and Google privacy policy.
We retain information for the following purposes and criteria, rather than promising one deletion period for every record.
Legal holds and applicable obligations can require longer retention of particular records. We explain relevant exceptions when handling a request.
Email support@destroythemarkets.com with “Privacy request” and describe whether you seek access, correction, deletion, a portable copy or another applicable right. You can also update profile information and download saved research in account settings. That download is a convenience feature and may not contain every item responsive to a privacy request.
We verify identity proportionately, ordinarily using the account email and authenticated controls. Do not send passwords or full payment details. An authorized agent should provide written authorization; we may verify both the authority and the person's identity as permitted by law.
We handle applicable rights within the deadlines required by your location, notify you of lawful extensions and explain any denial or retention exception. To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, reply to support with “Privacy appeal”; we will review the decision and explain the result and any further route available under applicable law. We do not unlawfully discriminate for exercising rights. Matt Pettoni is responsible for support, with a target of acknowledging requests within two business days; this is not a promise to complete every request within that time.
Canceling subscription renewal and deleting an account are separate actions. Use Plan & billing to stop renewal; canceling alone preserves eligible paid-period access. Self-service account deletion is blocked while a subscription has not fully ended or billing closure cannot be verified. For immediate closure before period end, or if you cannot access the controls, contact support so billing and account closure can be handled together.
Completed deletion closes account access and removes applicable active saved research. Limited billing, security, support, backup and legally required records can remain under the retention criteria above. See the Subscription Terms.
We use access and security safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We operate a United States service; our providers may process information in the United States and other countries in which they operate. We do not represent that every provider record stays in one country.
We do not knowingly offer accounts to people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided account information, contact support so we can investigate and take appropriate closure and deletion steps. We date changes to this notice and provide additional notice or consent when required.
